Swanand Kathak – Complete Brand Identity & Visual Design
Swanand Kathak is an Indian classical Kathak dance institution based in Mumbai (Thane), India. This project involved creating a complete and cohesive brand identity system that reflects the grace, rhythm, and spiritual depth of Kathak while presenting it through a contemporary visual language.
The entire branding project — including concept, design, and execution — was developed remotely from the UK, showcasing a cross-cultural and international creative collaboration.
The visual identity is rooted in the logo’s flowing forms, balanced geometry, and expressive color palette, all inspired by the movement, symmetry, and elegance of Kathak dance. Every design element was carefully crafted to remain culturally authentic while being modern, clean, and scalable across digital and print platforms.
The institution is led by Guru Swati Sandip Kolle and Sandeep Kolle, whose deep expertise and legacy in Indian classical dance played a key role in shaping the brand’s identity and visual direction.
